iSTAT Alinity | EMERGENT MEDICAL

About the course

This is a course on the Abbott i-STAT Alinity system! Including a deep dive into the analyzer, cartridge, blood draw and more. It is approximately 4.5hrs long, consisting of an engaging learning module (in a "textbook" format), a quiz, detailed reference section, and a completion certificate. The course utilizes custom videos, and interactive elements to allow the learner to understand the following; the components of both the analyzer and cartridge, navigating the different analyzer menu's, the blood draw best practice, how to properly fill the cartridge, how to use the cartridge pouch, how to run a test, troubleshooting common errors, cleaning, quality assurance testing, and more.

Note: Access will be provided for 8 weeks from enrollment

CME Credit: Use the completion certificate to obtain CME credit from your college or governing body.

What you'll learn

The primary objectives for this course are for you (the learner) to be able to do the following on course completion:
• Explain the process of performing a simulator test on the iSTAT Alinity analyzer.
• Describe the steps involved in preparing an iSTAT cartridge and analyzer for the processing of a blood sample.
• Describe how to manage common challenges that can occur when utilizing the iSTAT Alinity analyzer and cartridges
The course provides much more than is listed here, however to be successful in the course you need to accomplish the objectives listed above
