About the course

This is an evidence based course, utilizing a large amount of recorded intubations, engaging exercises and discussion, providing the learner with a unique experiential learning opportunity through guided review, links to other expert content, and current supportive literature. The course focuses on ensuring the learner completes the course with the foundations necessary for repeatable success when using any video laryngoscope. This course will take between 6-7 hours to complete both modules and the quiz, once completed you will be provided a completion certificate for your governing body and continuing medical education (CME) credit!

What you'll learn

The 4 steps of video laryngoscopy including procedure (epiglottoscopy, valleculoscopy, laryngoscopy, and tube delivery. As well as applying when to look in mouth versus at screen).
Understand the differences between standard geometry and hyperangulated blades, and there application.
Review the different video laryngoscopy techniques required for each blade type. So much more - click to see details
Determine the adjunct required to assist with tube delivery and the application of that adjunct (Bougie or Stylet)
Apply troubleshooting techniques to endotracheal intubation (ETI) problems presented in image and video review.
We will achieve these objectives over 2 engaging modules, a quiz, video case review, supportive literature, guided instruction, and more!
