e -700 Ventilator

This is a 6-8 hour, 3 module course, a completion quiz, and course certificate! The 3 modules will take you through:
- Learning ventilator terminology and its application. This includes essentials such as a review of respiratory physiology, how to measure a patient to establish the appropriate tidal volume, oxygen consumption considerations, and much more.
- A complete orientation to the e700, including the components, tubing, mode selection, parameter adjustments, and more. This is provided using demonstration videos and interactive presentations.
- Working our way through the alarms, trouble shooting, fine adjustments, and transport considerations.
This course will prepare you for applying the e700 in the field!
Note:
- It is preferred to complete this course using an e700 as you work through the modules.
- This course will take between 6-8 hours to complete all 3 modules and the quiz.
- Once completed you will be provided a completion certificate for your governing body and continuing medical education (CME) credit!
- The course is accredited for 18 Continuing education credits for Alberta College of Paramedics practitioners.
- Once enrolled you will have 8 weeks to complete the course.
